Job summary

Carlisle is seeking a Security Control Room Operator to monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control across a busy estate in London. You will coordinate with on-site security, log incidents, and escalate issues to the Control Room Supervisor as required.

The role requires a CCTV licence, SIA CCTV or guarding licence (desirable), and the ability to work 12-hour shifts including days, nights and weekends. Training will be provided to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• CCTV licence holder or verified status.
• Experience supervising a small team is desirable.
• Experience in customer-facing roles in busy environments.
• SIA CCTV licence holders preferred.
• Five years of checkable work and address history.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV and alarms; log incidents and coordinate with on-site teams.
• Respond to alarms promptly and escalate to supervisor as needed.
• Maintain clear communication with estate management and emergency responders.
• Operate in-shift handovers and complete daily activity reports.
• Support emergency procedures and contribute to post-incident reviews.
