Job summary

NatWest Group is seeking a Control Room Manager to lead risk-based decisions on conflicts of interest and oversee information barriers across our bank. The role requires strong compliance advisory experience and the ability to balance risk with customer outcomes.

You will build relationships with stakeholders across teams, challenge processes where needed, and drive improvements to information barrier controls while supporting regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Strong compliance advisory background with knowledge of market abuse regulation.
• Experience in control room or compliance environment.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders across seniority levels.
• Understanding of anti-bribery and corruption implications in banking.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage complex conflicts of interest using risk-based judgement.
• Maintain integrity of information barriers between private and public sides.
• Provide data-led oversight on Market Abuse and Conflicts risk management.
• Advise on Control Room policies, systems and processes across the bank.
• Identify themes and control gaps via MI, stakeholder engagement and horizon scanning.
• Escalate significant issues to senior compliance management and remediate.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation of Control Room processes.
