NatWest Group is seeking a Control Room Manager to identify and manage complex conflicts of interest, applying risk-based judgement to sensitive scenarios and establishing, monitoring and overseeing information barriers.

You will maintain integrity of information barriers and control flow of confidential information between private and public sides, while advising on Market Abuse and conflicts risk across functions.

Qualifikationen

• Strong compliance advisory background with knowledge of market abuse regulation.
• Experience in second line of defence or risk function.
• Ability to define policies, controls and risk management frameworks.
• Willingness to pursue CISI certification if not already held.

Aufgaben

• Identify and manage complex conflicts of interest using risk-based judgement.
• Maintain integrity of information barriers and monitor flow of confidential information.
• Provide data-led oversight on Market Abuse and Conflicts risk to all functions.
• Provide SME guidance to control teams on policies, systems and processes.
• Identify themes and emerging risks through MI and horizon scanning.
• Escalate significant issues to senior compliance management and remediate.
• Advise employees on regulatory and policy requirements; contribute to local procedures.
• Apply a proportional, risk-based approach to management and escalation of issues.
• Drive continuous improvement across Control Room processes and controls.
