Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Control Room Supervisor to lead a team of control room operators, provide guidance and training, and ensure all procedures are followed to a high standard. Flexibility to cover evenings and weekends is required.

You will manage daily operations, respond to alarms and incidents, and coordinate with relevant personnel to ensure swift resolution. The role emphasises leadership, organisation, and effective communication within a growing facilities management environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a control room or security operations role, supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays when required.
• Proficiency in using control room software and systems (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Supervise control room operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards.
• Manage and support a team of operators, providing ongoing training and development.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, coordinating with relevant personnel to ensure swift resolution.
• Create and manage staff rotas, addressing last-minute changes due to sickness or operational requirements.
• Handle client queries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
• Monitor reports for accuracy and compliance, addressing any discrepancies as needed.
• Collaborate with management to implement improvements and meet business needs.
