Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Contracts Manager in Leicester to oversee structural steelwork projects from planning through completion. You will drive safety, timeliness, and profitability while coordinating clients, main contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.

The role requires strong leadership, a solid grasp of NEC-style contracts, and ability to manage multiple stakeholders across office and site settings. Tekla and MS Project proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing contracts or projects within structural steelwork or related construction.
• Strong understanding of steelwork fabrication, installation, and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Manage safe, timely and profitable delivery of allocated steelwork projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate personnel, subcontractors and site teams to meet programme.
• Maintain relationships with clients, principal contractors and design teams.
• Monitor progress, update programmes and report milestones.
• Work with Quantity Surveyors on valuations, payments and variations.
• Ensure subcontractor performance and health and safety compliance.
• Contribute to tender submissions and business development.
