Salary: £27,600 - £33,000 + London Weighting (£5,319), depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

Location: Office Base is London, Television Centre. This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working

BBC Studio’s Digital team owns and operates various channels and products across EMEA; managing the editorial, account management, marketing and business development strategies across the markets.


We are a dynamic and evolving team working across different regions and products to deliver growth and reach for BBC content.

THE ROLE

The Content Operations Executive will coordinate and deliver supporting activities related to launch of digital products for Global Markets, EMEA including FAST portfolio. That includes launch planning, resources, communications, teamwork, information collection and analysis, as well as coordination of activities in matrix structure to ensure timely launch of digital products.

Responsibilities:

Management of FAST channels planning and launch activities

  • Oversee the end-to-end process for the pre-launch and launch of new FAST channels, as well as content refresh for existing channels.

  • Coordinate pre-launch checks and timelines to ensure seamless collaboration between Content Operations, Compliance, Localisation, and other teams involved in the launch.

  • Chair the weekly EMEA FAST Channels Ops meeting to track progress and align stakeholders.

  • Chair the FAST Channels Compliance Team Meeting to track progress, prioritise activities, and assess the impact of compliance work on launch timelines.

  • Liaise with the finance team to consolidate and secure pre-launch cost approvals.

  • Serve as the primary contact for operations teams regarding vendor relationships with Amagi, including initiating Service Orders for new channel launches and troubleshooting for day-to-day launch activities.

Stakeholders Engagement and Communication

  • Act as a central point of contact, providing updates on FAST launch activities and ensuring their smooth running, fostering effective communication between diverse teams, including FAST Editorial team, Content Operations, Compliance, Finance, and Technical Operations.

  • Chair the monthly FAST New Business Priorities & Planning Meeting, ensuring alignment and prioritization of launches on the 30/60/90 days planning cycle.

Ownership of Launch Related Documentation

  • Provide a high quality, user-friendly document management system, and ensure adherence to it, including ownership of the Monthly FAST Business Tracker and FAST Long-Range Tracker.
WHAT DOES IT TAKE?

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA;

  • Proven experience managing digital product launches, including planning, coordinating cross-functional teams, troubleshooting issues, and improving workflows for successful delivery.

  • Experience in chairing meetings, facilitating workshops, and driving stakeholders' alignment and priorities.

  • Strong time management and organisational skills

  • Demonstrable experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines and managing a high workload with conflicting priorities.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and attention to detail.


DESIRABLE CRITERIA;

  • Experience working with FAST channels and an understanding of the digital content landscape is highly desirable.
