You will manage audience and content reporting frameworks, monitor performance trends and provide clear, actionable analysis that improves reach, engagement, conversion and retention.

You will also maintain and promote content intelligence tools and dashboards that are accurate, easy to interpret and widely used across editorial and product teams, supporting both internal decision‑making and client‑facing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and report on audience performance, delivering insight on growth, engagement, and conversion across platforms, newsletters, and other channels.
  • Identify and interpret audience behaviours and content journeys, surfacing opportunities to optimise reach and retention.
  • Support experimentation and optimisation initiatives, helping to design, track and evaluate A/B and multivariate tests across editorial products and newsletters.
  • Maintain and evolve audience dashboards and reporting frameworks, ensuring data is accurate, accessible, and aligned with business needs.
  • Collaborate with editorial, product, and marketing teams to analyse user journeys and lifecycle stages, identifying ways to improve conversion and engagement.
  • Produce clear, actionable insights that inform content planning and performance improvement.
  • Equip stakeholders with effective data visualisations, evidence‑based recommendations and consistent performance reporting across teams.
  • Support and train editorial teams in the use of audience dashboards to encourage self‑service and day‑to‑day use.
  • Continuously refine analytics processes, automating reporting and adopting best practices to improve speed, accuracy and impact.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Strong experience in data analytics, data visualisation, reporting, and business intelligence.
  • Strong experience using content analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Proficiency with BI and visualisation tools including Power BI, Looker and Tableau.
  • Proficiency in Power Query, SQL and Python for analysis and automation.
  • Experience working with data warehouses such as Google BigQuery or AWS.
  • Experience working with or managing Google Tag Manager.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including macros and VBA.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder confidence.
  • Experience working with editorial, product, and client‑facing teams.
  • A proactive, curious approach to problem‑solving, with the ability to learn and adopt new tools and practices in a rapidly changing environment.
