A healthcare organization in the UK is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to deliver clinical care and lead mental health service developments. The role involves assessing patients and conducting risk assessments within a multi-disciplinary team. Applicants must hold current GMC registration and a specialist psychiatry qualification. As a Consultant Psychiatrist your responsibilities will vary. You will provide excellent clinical care, assessment and treatment to patients on the case load onsite, actively participate in the strategic direction of the mental health service, lead senior mental health clinicians on service developments and provide clinical supervision, and work within the multi‑disciplinary team to review referrals, determine appropriate treatment plans, conduct risk assessments and engage in multi‑professional complex case reviews.

4 days / 8 sessions per week between Monday to Friday. This role can be offered as a job share, or if you are looking for full time it can be worked across HMP Five Wells and HMP Gartree or HMP Stocken. You will receive an annual salary up to £196,736 per annum FTE, depending on experience.
