Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Logistics Administrator to join a contractor working on a major construction project in Port Talbot.

This long-term role runs for approximately 18 months with an 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday schedule.

You will coordinate site access, deliveries and documentation, maintain records using Word and Excel, and act as the administrative link between site teams, subcontractors and building management to keep logistics operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Construction or general logistics experience.
• Strong knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong time management and multitasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site access, inductions and passes for workers and visitors.
• Schedule vehicle movements and manage delivery windows to avoid site congestion.
• Maintain attendance logs, asset registers and waste transfer notes.
• Act as administrative liaison between site teams, hauliers and building management.
• Prepare daily/weekly logs and assist with compliance reporting.
