Job summary

Aaron Wallis Sales Recruitment is recruiting a Business Development Manager for the Midlands and South West to drive growth in the construction sector. You will manage a robust sales pipeline, win new business, and present technical compliance services to major contractors and developers.

You will work with internal teams, participate in CPDs and seminars, and travel regularly across the region with a company car or car allowance.

Qualifications

• Proven success in field sales or business development (construction sector preferred).
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel regionally and nationwide as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive regional revenue and meet targets monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities.
• Manage key accounts and develop long-term relationships with contractors and developers.
• Create and present compelling commercial proposals and lead negotiations.
• Deliver CPD seminars and technical presentations to clients.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasts in the CRM and report on performance.
