Job summary

Retail Insights in London seeks an operationally focused individual to own the end-to-end execution of our 10 European private equity conferences per year. You will manage venues, suppliers, on-site teams and the overall conference experience from start to finish.

Based in our London HQ, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced startup-like environment, taking significant responsibility and driving hands-on delivery. Training and growth opportunities are provided by an entrepreneurial team.

Qualifications

• UK work permit required.
• No extensive prior experience required; training is provided.
• Based in London; onsite role at our HQ.

Responsibilities

• Source and compare best suppliers for event needs and negotiate terms.
• Identify add-ons and branding materials with cost-conscious planning.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and address issues.
• Budget review and forecasting for changes.
• Plan sponsored VIP events, lunches, dinners, and after-hours activities.
• Coordinate with venues to ensure logistics are in place.
• Provide on-site support during events to run smoothly.
• Track internal team queries and maintain inventory sheets.
• Quality check banners, signage, and promotional materials.
• Hire, train, and manage a 40-person volunteer team.
