Job summary

Glasgow Westerwood Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort is seeking a dynamic Conference & Events Manager to lead the team and ensure outstanding guest experiences while driving revenue growth. You will work closely with the Events & Group Sales teams to plan and execute each event to meet client expectations.

With a background in hospitality, you will oversee meetings, banqueting and weddings, manage people, and stay up-to-date with food & beverage trends and wines & spirits to deliver exceptional service

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within hospitality.
• Experience in busy meetings, events, banqueting and weddings.
• People management experience.
• Up to date with food & beverages trends and best practice.
• Knowledge of wines & spirits.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Conference & Events team to maintain brand standards and deliver a high guest experience.
• Collaborate with Events & Group Sales to plan and execute events and maximise revenues.

What will I do?

Responsible for leading the Conference & Events team, you’ll lead from the front and work together with your team to ensure brand standards are adhered to, the guest experience is to a very high standard and revenues are maximised at every opportunity. Working closely with the Events & Group Sales team to plan and execute each event, meeting the client’s expectations.
