Job summary

Glasgow Westerwood Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort is outside Glasgow in Cumbernauld and is a 4*, 148-bedroom property with an on-site golf course and multiple dining options. We are seeking a Conference & Events Leader to head the team and drive events with a strong focus on guest experience and brand standards.

You will work closely with the Events & Group Sales teams to plan and execute each event, ensuring client expectations are met in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within hospitality.
• Have worked in a busy meetings & events, banqueting and weddings venue.
• People management experience.
• Up to date with food & beverages trends & best practice.
• Knowledge of wines & spirits.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading the Conference & Events team, you’ll lead from the front and work together with your team to ensure brand standards are adhered to, the guest experience is to a very high standard and revenues are maximised at every opportunity.
• Working closely with the Events & Group Sales team to plan and execute each event, meeting the client’s expectations.
