Job summary

200 Conference & Events is a five-star venue in the heart of Glasgow. We are seeking a hands-on Conference & Events Supervisor to lead our busy team and deliver outstanding service across conferences, corporate events, private functions and charity events.

You will assist the Conference & Events Manager, supervise event teams, coordinate with colleagues, support setup and service, and help maintain the highest standards at each event.

Qualifications

• At least one year’s supervisory experience in a similar hospitality role.
• Experience coordinating events of different sizes.
• Excellent customer service and attention to detail.
• A proactive, supportive and hands-on leadership style.
• Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work varied hours.
• The right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Conference & Events Manager to supervise our conference & event teams and ensure events run smoothly.
• Coordinate with the Events team, support event setup and service, and resolve issues as they arise.
• Run smaller conferences independently and motivate the team.
• Monitor equipment and stock, identify opportunities to increase revenue.
• Ensure health and safety, food hygiene and licensing requirements are met.
• Support bar service, canapé receptions and staff restaurant as needed.
