Job summary

Hoar Cross Hall in Staffordshire is seeking a guest services/Reception style team member to welcome guests from arrival to departure. You will assist with luggage, show guests to rooms and provide information about our hotel and spa offerings.

You’ll respond to requests, help maintain public areas and support Reception as needed. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, five days out of seven, with a competitive hourly rate and staff benefits.

Responsibilities

About The Role

You’ll help create a warm welcome for our guests from arrival to departure. You’ll assist with luggage, show guests to their rooms and share information about our hotel and spa facilities. You’ll respond to guest requests, help keep public areas tidy and work closely with Reception and other teams to ensure every stay runs smoothly. You’ll also support Reception when needed.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting guests upon arrival and departure with their luggage
• Providing courteous and efficient service, ensuring guest needs are met promptly
• Escorting guests to their rooms and provide brief information about hotel and spa facilities
• Assisting with delivering guest requests, such as room service orders, room transfers, taxi requests
• Keeping public areas are kept tidy and replenished throughout the day
• Coordinating with reception and other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences
• Assisting on reception duties when required

Your Skills And Expertise

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have an excellent understanding of hotel and spa facilities and services
• Have the ability to follow procedures and maintain accuracy in information provided
• Be sales-oriented mindset with the ability to upsell and promote additional services

Additional Information

• Full-time - 40 hours per week
• Working 5 out of 7 days per week including weekends and public holidays
• £12.71 per hour
