Job summary

Sopwell House in Hertfordshire is seeking a Spa Receptionist to join the dedicated Spa team. You will greet guests, book treatments, advise on products and classes, and assist Spa Therapists to deliver a luxurious experience.

The role offers 8.5-hour shifts across 6:00 am to 10:30 pm, with weekends and bank holidays. Fluency in English, excellent communication, and a passion for outstanding service are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in front desk or receptionist roles in luxury hospitality.
• Fluent in English with confident and warm guest interaction.
• Flexible availability; 8.5-hour shifts including weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests at Spa Reception and guide treatments, retail products and fitness classes.
• Make bookings and support Spa Therapists to deliver luxurious experiences.
• Provide information on hotel services and ensure guests feel welcome and unwind.
• Process spa charges and invoices accurately and promptly.

Your role in our family:

• As a Spa Receptionist you will become part of a dedicated team that engages with our guests throughout their experience with us
• To provide our guests with first class hospitality, providing advice and guidance on treatments, retail products and fitness classes; making bookings and supporting the Spa Therapists in providing a truly luxurious experience
• Provide information on hotel services and most importantly, make our guests feel welcome and help them unwind
• Ensure Spa charges are processed diligently to guests’ accounts, invoices are accurate and all guest transactions are fulfilled in a very timely manner

• A natural flair for service with an elegant, professional demeanour and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional, luxury-level experiences
• Previous experience in a similar role, such as front desk or receptionist positions, within a high-end or customer-focused environment
• Outstanding communication skills, with fluency in English and the ability to engage confidently and warmly with guests and colleagues
• Flexible availability, working 8.5 hour shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), with shift times scheduled between 6:00 am and 10:30 pm
