Job summary

Hoar Cross Hall, a historic estate and luxury spa in Staffordshire, is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant (Spa) to maintain the outdoor spa terrace, laundry area, and bedrooms to the highest cleanliness and presentation standards.

You will work with the Head Housekeeper to deliver spotless spaces, manage linens, replenish amenities, and support colleagues across shifts. The role offers flexible hours with 5 days out of 7 and early or late shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping within hospitality is preferred.
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
• Willingness to work varying shifts, including early mornings and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outdoor spa terrace cleanliness and orderliness.
• Regularly clean outdoor furniture, fixtures and fittings.
• Maintain hygiene of spa facilities including hot tubs and pools.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold and store linens and towels.
• Replenish amenities and keep laundry area tidy.
• Complete extra tasks as directed by supervisors.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.

The Role:

To work collaboratively with the Head Housekeeper in ensuring the cleanliness, organisation, and general maintenance of the outdoor spa terrace, laundry area, and, when necessary, the bedrooms. These areas should be maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and appearance.

Role Specification:

• Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the spa terrace.
• Regularly check and clean outdoor furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
• Maintain the hygiene of the spa facilities, including hot tubs, pools, and other equipment.
• Assist in sorting, washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and towels.
• Replenish amenities.
• Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and free from obstructions.
• Completing extra jobs as instructed by Housekeeping Supervisors, Deputy Head Housekeeper and Head Housekeeper.
• Report any maintenance issues to the Head Housekeeper promptly.

Shift Patterns:

• 0 hours per week
• 5 days out of 7 per week
• Two shift patterns available:
• 6am - 2pm
• 2pm - 10.00pm
• Note:Full flexibility is key as you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and the business
