Job summary

Jolyon Marshall Limited is seeking a Retail Concession Manager to oversee daily operations, maximise piercing studio utilisation and drive sales of jewellery and aftercare products within a leading department store environment.

The candidate will lead a small team, ensure exceptional customer service, recruit and train staff, and coordinate promotional initiatives while maintaining high standards of health and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in ear piercing or beauty industry or a closely related retail sector.
• Strong leadership and people management with proven motivational skills.
• Excellent customer service focus, plus ability to educate and advise customers.
• Experience planning promotions, rotas and day-to-day running of a concessions unit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of a high-profile concession and ensure seamless day-to-day trading within a host store environment, observing the best practices of both organisations at all times.
• Manage each concession's inventory and ensure supplies are consistently available to maximise on-site facilities usage.
• Lead your team to maximise piercing studio utilisation, maintain the highest piercing standards, and professionally present every related sales opportunity, including jewellery sales and aftercare products.
• As additional concessions become operational, bring satellite locations under your management responsibility.

Requirements

• Drive and determination to ensure every aspect of retailing and customer service is delivered to the highest possible standard.
• Strong leadership skills demonstrated through previous experience, enabling you to inspire and empower colleagues to consistently deliver and exceed the company's customer promise.
• Experience within ear piercing or the wider beauty industry and an appreciation of customer education and personalised styling advice.
• Confident across a broad range of management disciplines, including recruitment, staff training, performance management and health and safety best practice.
• Motivated by planning and implementing promotional activities when appropriate, with the ability to manage staff rotas to ensure full operational and sales capability at all times.
