The Component Engineer will be responsible for managing electronic and electromechanical components throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with design, quality, and regulatory standards. This role supports product integrity by mitigating obsolescence risks, maintaining approved component databases, and collaborating with design teams to select and qualify parts for aerospace and defence applications. The Component Engineer role plays a key role in shaping and managing part number set‑ups, configurations and a range of technical processes that keep operations running smoothly.
