Job summary

Haven is seeking a Park & Financial Safety Advisor in Preston to strengthen safety and financial compliance across the park. You will coach teams, ensure staff and contractors meet qualifications, and lead risk assessments and audits to drive operational excellence.

The role involves collaborating with park leadership on inspections, investigations, and energy-saving initiatives, while delivering ongoing training and straightforward reporting to leadership teams.

Qualifications

• IOSH Managing Safely certification preferred.
• Level 3 Food Hygiene preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety compliance and risk assessments.
• Experience with financial audits and reporting.
• Ability to coach and train teams effectively.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, coach, and support park teams to achieve high safety and financial compliance standards.
• Ensure qualifications and inductions for staff and external contractors.
• Maintain risk and COSHH assessments, and compliance checks.
• Oversee records and inspections of assets and fleet vehicles to meet legal requirements.
• Support investigations and provide detailed incident reports.
• Conduct internal audits on financial compliance, stock and cash handling.
• Deliver safety, stock, and financial compliance training.
• Facilitate safety visits with external bodies and coordinate with leadership.
