Bristol Veterinary Specialists is hiring a Receptionist to join our CVS Vets family in Bristol. You will be the friendly first contact, greet clients, manage calls, schedule appointments, process payments and assist with insurance forms.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Receptionist or in a demanding, client-focused role is a must.
• Experience in a veterinary setting is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls and schedule appointments efficiently.
• Respond to queries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism.
• Greet and register new clients, ensuring a warm welcome.
• Process and manage insurance forms adeptly.
• Dispense medications as required.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Provide empathy and understanding to clients during distressing times, while maintaining professionalism.
• Organise patients using the in-house system efficiently.
• Liaise with veterinary practices to address patient needs and queries.
• Make necessary phone calls regarding debts, belongings, and refunds.
