Inspiring Vet Care in Dursley, England is seeking a friendly Receptionist for a part-time fixed-term role (12 months). The 18-hour weekly pattern includes Mon 8-1, Wed 8-11:30, Thu 2:30-7:30, Fri 4-7:30, plus one Saturday morning shift. You will manage appointments, greet clients and support the team across the practice.

Qualifications

Experience in a customer-facing role with a focus on service and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and a professional, welcoming manner.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

Meet all visitors to the practice and provide a welcoming, professional reception experience.
Answer telephone calls, handle enquiries and book appointments.
Register new clients on the computer system and organise diaries.
Take payments, assist with insurance claims and dispense medication/prescriptions as needed.
Educate clients about practice services and maintain a tidy reception area.
