Vale Vets and Referrals is seeking a friendly receptionist to join our busy practice on a 12-month fixed-term, part-time basis (18 hours per week). You will welcome clients, manage appointments and handle enquiries to ensure a smooth client and patient journey.

We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Vale Vetson a part-time fixed-term basis for 12 months.
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.
You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.
This is a 12-month fixed term position, working 18 hours a week, specifically the following hours:

We are looking for a receptionist to join our team here at Vale Vets and Referrals. We are a busy small animal hospital and are available 24/7 with onsite care for first opinion and referral clients. The main responsibilities of this role will involve meeting all visitors to the practice, answering telephone calls to deal with client enquires and book appointments, register new clients onto our computer system, organise diaries, check client and patient details to ensure accurate records, take payments, handle insurance claims, dispense medication/prescriptions, educate clients about practice services, keep the reception area clean and tidy and work closely alongside all practice staff members.
