Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a friendly Receptionist for our Stroud branch on a part-time fixed-term basis for 6 months. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients, managing appointments, handling enquiries, and supporting both clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a welcoming, efficient client and patient journey.

The role offers 24 hours per week with 6 hour shifts, some Saturdays, and a strong focus on exceptional service in a veterinary setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Greeting clients and their pets, booking appointments, handling telephone and email enquiries and taking payments.
• Support the veterinary staff during busy times and ensure a high level of client care.
• Maintain a smooth client and patient journey by coordinating between clinical and non-clinical teams.
