Job summary

Riverside is seeking a Support Worker to join our Eden Rural Foyer service in Penrith. This part-time role (24 hours per week) offers a permanent contract and involves supporting customers with daily activities, budgeting, and linking them to employment or housing options. You will maintain records and work within safeguarding guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with vulnerable people
• Experience of delivering structured support and risk management
• Able to work as part of a team with empathy and resilience

Responsibilities

• Support customers to connect with employability coaches and other support agencies
• Help customers manage money, benefits, or to move on to a more permanent home
• Keep records and complete admin tasks as part of the role
• Provide tenancy-related support and follow safeguarding procedures when needed
