Job summary

Advance Housing and Support in Gosport is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help customers with learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions live the lives they choose. You will work 37.5 hours weekly, including weekends, and require a full UK driving licence to access the community.

You’ll assist with personal care, appointments, meals and daily activities while maintaining accurate records and care plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience within the care sector.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Able to work every other weekend
• Able to do sleep-ins if required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required)
• Medication administration (if required)
• Support with preparing and cooking meals
• Support with attending medical appointments
• Support with social activities
• Support with independent skills
• Support with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry
• Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required
• Keeping up to date with training
