Job summary

Advance Housing & Support Ltd currently seeks motivated Support Workers in Sarisbury Green, Southampton, to assist customers with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions. Roles are 30 or 37.5 hours per week, with weekends included.

Full training and career progression opportunities are provided within a not-for-profit housing and support charity. You will work on personal care, meal support, appointments, and social activities while maintaining high-quality records and care

Qualifications

• Good teamwork and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication with people.
• Ability to complete quality support records and maintain documentation.
• Willingness and ability to work every other weekend.
• Ability to work between 7am and 10:30pm with flexible shifts.
• Ability to follow Care Plans and risk assessments and maintain records.
• Must be literate and numerate in English.
• Willingness to achieve the Care Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and hygiene as required.
• Support with meals, appointments, and social activities.
• Maintain accurate care plans and records for residents.
• Keep up to date with training and complete required documentation.
• Support with domestic duties and independent living skills.
• Provide compassionate, person-centred care to individuals with disabilities.
