Job summary

Anchor Point Neurological Centre in Nursling, near Southampton, is seeking a Sous Chef to support the kitchen team in delivering high-quality meals and a positive dining experience for residents. You will work 40 hours per week, days, with a focus on consistency, dietary requirements, and presentation.

The role requires strong food hygiene, health and safety knowledge, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment.
• Experience in a care home environment is desirable.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety and COSHH regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support the kitchen team as Sous Chef to deliver high-quality meals and dining experiences.
• Prepare and deliver meals to a high standard while respecting dietary requirements and presentation.
• Maintain food hygiene, health and safety and COSHH standards in the kitchen.

Skills

Previous experience in catering or厨房
