Job summary

Co-op invites applications for a Mobile Funeral Arranger in London. This part-time role (18.75 hours weekly) offers £13.47 per hour plus benefits and requires compassionate service to families. You’ll manage client visits, coordinate funeral arrangements, and maintain a respectful, welcoming environment for clients and colleagues.

Training is provided with a strong pension scheme and staff discounts. Responsibilities include building client relationships, handling inquiries, updating records

Qualifications

• Clear communication skills both written and spoken.
• Ability to do basic cash handling and calculations.
• Keen eye for detail and accuracy with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and the community.
• Support clients in person and over the phone, arranging family visits and answering questions.
• Keep the funeral home clean, safe, and welcoming and report maintenance issues.
• Use digital systems to manage client documentation, funeral arrangements and invoicing.
• Refer regulated work (funeral plans) to the Funeral Plan Arrangers.
• Assist with manual handling of coffins and preparation of deceased bodies.
