Job summary

Co-op Funeralcare is seeking a Funeral Plan Consultant to be the first point of contact for funeral plan enquiries and sales across your region. You’ll manage your own diary, arrange client visits, and provide expert guidance on plan options in line with regulations.

You’ll build relationships in the local community, follow up on enquiries, and work closely with branch teams. A full UK driving licence and customer-facing experience are valued for delivering excellent client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Experience in sales, customer service or client-facing roles is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and community.
• Keen eye for detail to ensure regulatory policies are followed.
• Strong admin and organisational skills; able to manage diary and travel.
• Confident using IT systems incl. Outlook and Teams.
• High levels of empathy, discretion and care in time of vulnerability.
• Passion for delivering great service and good outcomes for clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide clients with expert guidance on funeral plans and options in line with guidelines and regulations.
• Diary management: make/receive calls, arrange visits, follow up enquiries.
• Keep accurate records; manage client documentation securely and discretely.
• Collaborate with branch teams; support funeral plan enquiries and admin tasks as needed.
