Job summary

The Co-operative Group is hiring a Funeral Plan Consultant in Plymouth. You will be the first point of contact for funeral plans, guiding clients and handling enquiries and sales across your region. You’ll manage your calendar, conduct visits, and build relationships within the local community.

Role requires a full UK driving licence and the ability to travel to client meetings. Training on FCA requirements and pre-employment screening will be provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships.
• Keen eye for detail and accuracy to comply with policies.
• Excellent admin and organisational skills, able to manage your diary.
• Proficient with IT systems and MS Office including Outlook and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide clients with expert guidance on funeral plans and options.
• Manage your diary, make/receive calls, arrange face-to-face visits, and follow up on enquiries.
• Keep accurate client records and documentation confidential and timely.
• Collaborate with branch teams to support funeral plan enquiries and admin tasks.
