Co-op Funeralcare in Lancashire is seeking a Funeral Director to join a caring team across Lancaster, Morecambe and the Fylde Coast. The role combines management and client service duties with the compassionate handling of funeral arrangements.

No prior experience is required. The position includes an on-call rota and shifts that may require early starts or later finishes to support funeral services, while maintaining professionalism and respect.

Qualifications

• Empathy and customer focus essential.
• Comfort with responsibilities including handling the deceased.
• UK driving licence required.

Responsabilités

• Ensure client needs, service levels and KPIs are met.
• Be the clients’ main point of contact with support from the wider team.
• Support funerals – conduct ceremonies, lead the team and assist with moving the deceased.
