Co-op Funeralcare in Lancaster is seeking an empathetic manager to join our Funeralcare team. The role balances managerial duties with practical funeral operations, including client liaison and leading teams through ceremonies.

The position involves an on-call rota 1 week in 4, with potential early starts and late finishes around funeral duties, and working across Lancaster, Morecambe, and the Fylde Coast. No industry experience is required, just strong people skills and a commercial focus.

Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday - 9am-5pm with expectations to start earlier and finish later due to Funerals - as part of this role, you'll also be part of the on call rota - 1 week in 4 on call Monday-Friday 5pm-8pm and Sat/Sun 8am-8pm.

Working across Lancaster, Morecambe and the Fylde Coast

No experience needed.

Please note all positions within Funeralcare can involve direct physical contact with the deceased as part of normal duties - the amount of contact will differ dependant on role applied for.

Typical duties include but are not limited to preparation, transportation, and personal care of the deceased to be carried out with professionalism, dignity, respect and adherence to health and safety standards.
