Central England Coop is seeking a compassionate Funeral Care Assistant to support families at bereavement scenes and ensure dignified preparation and presentation of the deceased. You will work within our funeral team, providing empathetic service and upholding the highest professional standards.

This role includes participating in standby and on-call duties, and you may be required to hold a full UK manual driving licence to assist with transfers in our Society vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Care for the deceased with dignity, including washing and dressing.
