Hill Care Ltd. is looking for a compassionate Care Assistant to support Residents in our Residential home. You will help with daily living, comfort, and well-being, while communicating effectively and respecting residents’ dignity.

The role emphasizes teamwork, training opportunities, and adherence to policies. A positive, patient-centered approach is essential to enhance residents’ quality of life in a supportive home environment.

Formación

• Genuine interest in working in a caring environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Team player and open to training.
• Police check and POVA list verification where applicable.
• Vocational qualification or working towards it is desirable.
• Experience with the relevant client group is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Care: assist with washing, toileting, dressing and daily living while ensuring comfort and dignity.
• Assist with physical, emotional and spiritual needs and monitor mobility.
• Support residents with activities and continence promotion.
• Provide end-of-life care assistance and last offices where needed.
• Record daily care notes and follow care plans and policies.
• Engage residents in social activities and hobbies within the home.
• Answer Nursecall and respond to doors/phones promptly.
• Report wellbeing concerns to supervisors and follow safety procedures.
• Carry out room and bed changes and help maintain cleanliness and waste disposal.
