Job summary

Medivet is seeking a Client Care Assistant to be the first point of contact for clients. You will handle reception duties, manage bookings, and support the practice diary while delivering exceptional client care.

Ideal candidates will have strong numeracy, experience with online appointment systems, and a collaborative approach in a veterinary setting. Prior reception experience in a practice is desirable, with learning opportunities and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Strong client-facing skills with a welcoming manner.
• Good numeracy skills for record-keeping and bookings.
• Experience using online appointment booking systems.
• Team oriented and able to adapt in a busy practice.
• Willing to learn and adapt to new processes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reception duties, greet clients on arrival and update records.
• Triage emergency appointments and coordinate with clients to rearrange when needed.
• Manage the practice diary to ensure optimal availability.
• Answer client phone calls and manage messages.
• Ensure slots are available for online booking and process repeat prescriptions.
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team.
