Southern Housing is seeking a compassionate Care & Support Worker to join our team in the Sandown area. You will provide personalised care across our supported housing schemes and within the local community, following individual care plans to promote independence and dignity.

No prior experience is required as full training is provided; you may work evenings, weekends, sleep-ins, and on-call shifts, with safeguarding and anti-discrimination at the core of care.

Formación

• A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
• Willingness to work towards an NVQ Level 2 in Care (or equivalent).
• No previous experience required; full training and support will be provided.
• Safeguarding responsibilities understood and reported.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver care and support in line with individual care plans.
• Promote independence, choice and inclusion for residents.
• Work evenings and weekends; sleep-in duties and on-call rota.
• Move and handle residents safely when required.
• Maintain accurate records and reports using basic IT skills.
