Southern Housing is seeking caring, positive Care & Support Workers to provide personalised, high-quality assistance to residents across supported housing schemes, extra care services and in the local community on the Isle of Wight.

You’ll work evenings and weekends as required, may undertake sleep-in duties or be on an on-call rota, and you’ll help people to live as independently as possible while upholding dignity, choice and inclusion.

Competenze

• A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
• Willingness to work towards an NVQ Level 2 in Care (or equivalent).
• No previous experience is required – full training and support will be provided.

Mansioni

• Provide care and support in line with individual care plans, promoting independence, choice and inclusion.
• Deliver care across supported housing schemes, extra care services and in the community.
• Remain calm and professional in emergencies and handle moving and handling tasks as required.
