Job summary

Clarion Housing Group in Norwich is seeking a Community Warden to join our Estates, Repairs and Neighbourhood team on a permanent basis. The role focuses on keeping estates well maintained, free from litter and graffiti, and delivering a responsive service to tenants.

You will inspect estates, coordinate with contractors, residents and teams, and support tenancy conditions. A full UK driving licence is required, and you will travel across the region as needed.

• Willingness to travel across the region.

• Provide a local responsive service to tenants and ensure estates are well kept.
• Carry out inspections and liaise with estate contractors, residents and teams.
• Respond to urgent situations and report on repair needs.
• Travel across the region and attend meetings/trainings as required.

• Location: Norwich - Reed House - covering Norwich and surrounding areas
• Salary: £25,179 - £32,907 per annum
• Hours: 36 hours per week - flexible options considered
• Contract Type: Permanent

We are recruiting for a Community Warden to join our team in Norwich on a permanent basis supporting Estates, Repairs and the Neighbourhood team.

You will be providing a local responsive service to tenants ensuring estates are free from litter, graffiti and are well kept. You will be supporting the Neighbourhood Teams ensuring new tenants are settled in, tenancy conditions are met, responding to urgent situations and reporting on repair needs. You will carry out thorough regular inspections and liaise with estate contractors, residents and teams ensuring that estates and communal areas are maintained to the highest standard.

We’re looking for someone with experience of customer service in a Housing environment who has excellent communication skills and the ability to plan their own workload. You will have the proven ability to engage with service users and experience in negotiation and resolving conflict along with good IT skills and you must hold a full UK Drivers License.

You will need to have a positive approach, good problem solving skills and be able to work on your own initiative putting our residents at the heart of our service delivery.
