Job summary

Seetec Business Technology Centre seeks a compassionate Community Support Worker to assist participants from initial assessment through reintegration, delivering one-on-one and group interventions. You’ll help individuals overcome challenges, build skills, and access housing, health and wellbeing resources in a supportive community setting.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, collaboration with mentors, and meeting contractual targets.

Qualifications

• IAG Level 3 - desirable
• Experience managing a caseload - desirable
• Knowledge of inputting and retrieving electronic data and maintaining information systems
• Experience in a target-driven environment
• Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to motivate and sustain engagement of individuals

Responsibilities

• Meet individual performance targets and contribute to team performance targets
• Collaborate with volunteer peer mentors to manage caseloads and connect participants with housing, health and wellbeing resources
• Contribute to a learning environment where colleagues develop skills and share best practices
• Ensure effective case management and safeguarding in line with policies and procedures
• Meet contractual targets and support reintegration of participants
