Job summary

Seetec Group in Sutton is recruiting an Employment Specialist to guide participants into sustainable work, including many with health support needs. You will identify opportunities and provide person-centred guidance while building strong ties with referral partners and local employers.

The role requires an engaging, adaptable individual who can work with a diverse group and support clients on their journey back to employment. 37 hours, permanent, £33,000–£40,700, with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of labour market trends guiding employment opportunities.
• Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and virtual collaboration tools.
• Desirable: Level 3 Award in Employability Services or equivalent.
• Familiarity with welfare-to-work programmes.

Responsibilities

• Meet and strive to exceed personal performance targets and KPIs.
• Progressively manage a caseload of referred customers with learning disabilities.
• Undertake in-depth assessments to understand barriers to employment.
• Co-produce personalised tailored Action Plans with SMART targets.
• Coordinate with local partners and employers to source opportunities.
• Maintain compliant records and ensure health and safety standards.
