Karbon Homes is recruiting a Housing Assistant for its Area 5 Housing Team on a fixed-term basis running to August 2027. The role handles administration for the team, including records, invoice payments and general customer queries, alongside garage site allocations and furniture service enquiries.

What sets it apart is lone working in the community and in tenants' homes, with regular travel, a car payment and agile working on a 37-hour week.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to plan and prioritise own workload to targets and tight deadlines.
• Ability to work on own initiative, including lone working.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the team, including maintaining records and mail merges.
• Process invoice payments and manage invoice queries.
• Deal with general customer enquiries.
• Allocate, sign up and monitor garage sites.
• Handle enquiries about the furniture service.
• Support colleagues with home visits.
• Support scheme and estate inspections.
• Support anti-social behaviour cases.
• Take part in community events.
