Job summary

Greystar is seeking a dedicated cleaning operative for our Coventry community. You will work within the Community team to ensure all residents experience a consistently clean environment, from reception to external areas, supporting responsive service to residents and signposting to the right contacts.

You will handle daily cleaning duties, maintain stock levels, and report hazards, helping keep show flats market-ready and compliant with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintains high standard of cleanliness in all communal areas, offices, reception and restrooms.
• Responds to queries from residents and directs them to the appropriate person to assist.
• Cleans reception, offices, common spaces and restrooms daily.
• Checks amenity areas and cleans as required.
• Performs daily litter picks in external areas of the community.
• Ensures rooms and show flats are refreshed to maintain market-ready appeal.
• Performs weekly flush downs in empty rooms and apartments per health and safety policies.
• Assists in make-ready tasks as requested by Community Manager or supervisor.
• Notifies Community Manager of hazards or potentially dangerous situations.
• Logs maintenance issues with Customer Service as identified in daily tasks.
• Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and alerts supervisor when re-orders are needed.
• Uses materials and equipment efficiently to balance cost with quality.
