Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness across the community, including reception and common areas. You will play a key role in ensuring a welcoming, safe, and market-ready environment for residents.

The role requires strong English communication, familiarity with UK health and safety rules, and experience in customer-facing cleaning tasks. You will work as part of a friendly team to support residents and uphold Greystar’s standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write in English to understand safety labels and procedures.
• Knowledge of UK health and safety requirements.
• Experience applying cleaning best practices in public or resident environments.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Proven customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing tasks and workloads.

Responsibilities

• Maintain overall cleanliness of the community, including common spaces and offices.
• Respond to resident queries promptly or direct to the right team member.
• Clean reception, offices, and restrooms to high standards.
• Perform daily litter picking of external areas.
• Keep show flats and empty rooms market-ready and fresh.
• Conduct weekly health and safety compliant flush downs in empty units.
• Assist Community Manager with additional duties as needed.
• Report hazards to the supervisor and log maintenance issues.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request reorders when needed.
• Support residents and guests with courteous service and information.
