Job summary

gtd healthcare is recruiting a Receptionist for the New Bank Health Centre in Longsight, Manchester. The role supports a friendly reception team on an 18-month fixed-term contract, with both full-time and part-time hours within 08:00–18:00, Monday to Friday.

Experience in GP practice and EMIS Web/Docman desirable but not essential. The post involves welcoming patients, directing them to the right services, handling registrations, triage, and providing excellent customer service in a diverse

Responsibilities

• Welcome and receive all patients and visitors to the Practice.
• Assist and direct patients to the appropriate healthcare professional/service.
• Process all requests for appointments, visits and telephone consultation/triage.
• Project a positive and friendly image to patients and visitors.
• Explain Practice arrangements to new registrations and temporary registrations.
• Maintain accurate recording of details at all times.
• Receive and make telephone calls and take messages with accuracy.
