Job summary

Nationwide in Finchfield is seeking a Customer Representative to deliver great customer experiences across branch, phone, and online channels. You will welcome customers, handle everyday banking tasks, and guide customers to suitable products and digital tools that simplify money management.

You will join a branch team, work full-time 35 hours weekly (Mon–Sat) and must live within a 45-minute commute to the branch.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service environment is beneficial
• Patience, empathy and strong people skills are essential
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs, offering trusted help with banking
• Handle transactions and queries accurately, ensuring security and fairness
• Guide customers to banking products and services that fit their needs and help manage money
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service, even at peak times
• Follow processes and escalate concerns to protect customers and Nationwide
