Job summary

Nationwide in Pudsey, Leeds, is seeking a Customer Consultant to deliver face-to-face and phone support for everyday banking needs. You’ll welcome customers, handle transactions, and guide them to digital tools with care and clarity.

This permanent, full-time role offers 35 hours per week (Monday–Saturday) with comprehensive training and a competitive benefits package designed to support customers and colleagues alike.

Qualifications

• Experience or a passion to work in a customer service environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs, offering trusted, friendly help with banking.
• Handle a range of transactions and queries accurately, prioritising customer security and fairness.
• Help customers get the most from our digital services, making banking easier and more accessible.
• Guide customers through banking products and services that fit their needs.
• Work closely with colleagues in a busy branch to deliver excellent customer service.
• Follow processes, spot issues, and escalate concerns to protect customers.
