Job Description

Main duties of the job

  • Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to adult people with mental health needs, across northern Havering
  • Provide senior medical support to the team, and direct input on clinical cases
  • Provide guidance and supervision to the team
  • Work directly with adults and their families and liaise with external adult mental health providers and acute hospitals
  • Participate in the on-call rota (frequency 1:50) with a 3% basic salary on-call supplement
  • Support peers and team leader, and be an effective team member while enabling others to work with their own initiative
  • Work alongside 1wte consultants, 1wte Specialty Doctor, and 1wte trainee doctor within the service
  • Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals, and agencies

This is a new, substantive, full-time role - 10 PAs. You will join a small team and have the opportunity to influence future direction, treatment, and service design in the area.
