Communications Officer

We are currently recruiting for a Communications Officer on a temp basis from now until the end of June – 21 hours a week. The role is hybrid – 1 day in the office and 2 days from home – based in Aldgate East. Pro Rota Salary £23,081. Full-time salary is £38,469 (£24 an hour).

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

We are recruiting a Communications Officer to support a major digital transformation programme, including a new CRM, website and CMS launching in Summer 2026. The role will support project communications, helping keep staff and members informed and engaged.

Key duties include:
  • Writing and publishing content for the website, intranet, newsletters, emails and social media.
  • Supporting delivery of internal and external communications plans.
  • Maintaining project communications resources and schedules.
  • Acting as a point of contact for project-related enquiries.
ABOUT YOU
  • You’ll have strong written communication and organisational skills, experience working in an office or communications role, confidence using Microsoft Office and website CMSs, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
