Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Scotland is seeking a skilled technician for high voltage testing on systems up to 33kv. Responsibilities include performing relay injection tests, verifying control circuit wiring per schematics, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and be able to read schematic diagrams.

Qualifications

• Experience with high voltage systems ranging from 415v to 33kv.
• Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
• Familiarity with B.E.B.S. S12 wire identification standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high voltage testing on electrical systems.
• Perform relay secondary injection tests for protection settings.
• Verify control circuit wiring according to schematic diagrams.
